Whenever people discover that we home school our kids, the reaction is always the same: “Why?”
The answer is lengthy, the reasons are numerous. So I recorded this video for anyone who is interested, and to save myself having to repeat it every time! This is in no way a recommendation for anyone else, it’s merely the reasons and research behind my decision.
Annemarie, the kid’s mother and my partner, saw this video and pointed out that I make it sound like I do all the homeschooling myself – which is clearly very misleading! Annemarie does the lion’s share of the teaching. I suppose I’m the equivalent of the “Home School Headmaster”, or something.
